About RIMC:

RIMC, located in Dehradun (Uttarakhand), is one of the most prestigious and oldest military institutions in India, established in 1922. It functions under the Ministry of Defence and prepares young boys for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and later the Indian Armed Forces as commissioned officers.

RIMC follows a high academic standard with a strong focus on physical training, discipline, and leadership. The environment is fully residential and aims to develop “future leaders” of the nation.

Admission Details:

Admission is open for boys in Class 8 through an entrance exam conducted twice a year by RIMC Dehradun under the supervision of the Ministry of Defence.

• Eligibility: Boths boys and girls aged between 11½ to 13 years.
• Selection Process: Written test (English, Maths, GK), Viva-voce, and Medical examination.
